About Gary Biglaiser

Gary Biglaiser is a Professor of Economics at the University of North Carolina, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on Industrial Organization and Regulation, Microeconomic Theory, Information Economics and Game Theory, and Environmental Economics.

He is currently the Associate Editor of the RAND Journal of Economics, and has served on the editorial boards for the Journal of Regulatory Economics and the Berkeley Electronic Journals in Economics. His recent working papers include "Dynamic Price Competition with Capacity Constraints and Strategic Buyers" with Nikos Vettas, and "Quality, Upgrades, and (the Loss of) Market Power in a Dynamic Monopoly Model" with James Anton.

His research fields include Industrial Organization and Regulation, Microeconomic Theory, Antitrust Issues, Environmental Economics, and Political Economy.
